My Review

Wow another awesome book in the series of Love at the chocolate shop. I am loving this series and I love this story of Casey Michaels who is a Photojournalist and is from Marietta and her boyfriend Dylan Morgan who is also a homeboy radio DJ who just loves the work he does.

The thing that I really loved about reading this story is this can be anyone. One person has a career that takes them all over the place and the other has one at home. Makes for a difficult relationship.

The story is about Casey coming home, she normally is home for a few days and then off to another adventure, but this time she needs time. Something happened while she was on her last trip and she really needs to come to terms with it.   She is happy to be home, but is also going through some turmoil and her boyfriend Dylan doesn’t really know what to do. He wants her to stay not leave again. They make a plan and then she is needed again out of the country for her job, she told Dylan is would be only three days.

With some misunderstanding and the usually miscommunication, Casey ends up staying a few days longer than plan.

You will need to read the book to find out what happens. I really loved the writing and the storyline. The author did a great job with the storyline. It is very engaging and fun to read. This book can be read as a stand-alone. The characters are fantastic and I feel like I want to go visit their awesome town.

I want to thank Tule Publications and Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book. I am giving this book five stars because it was a fantastic read.

Keep your competition close…and your heart even closer.

When Nevada Parker travels to Marietta, Montana, she anticipates enough peace and quiet to finish her PhD dissertation. Cupidville turns out to be anything but quiet. In fact, it looks like Valentine’s Day—her least favorite holiday—exploded all over the small town.

Among the sea of red hearts, “Be Mine” signs, and pink, pink, pink, Nevada spots a flyer for a multi-day race called The Valentine Quest. The grand prize—a luxury tropical vacation—would be the perfect welcome-home gift for her brother who’s leaving the military.

Dustin Decker sure could use a break from giving city slickers sleigh rides—and from the now ex-girlfriend who issued an ultimatum. Even with a bum knee from his bull riding days, the race’s grand prize is as good as his—until he realizes he needs a partner for some of the more complicated tasks.

He makes a strategic pact with the prim, bookish Nevada. But with a kiss, their unlikely alliance turns into something more…and soon racing isn’t the only thing on their minds. As the finish line nears, they must decide if the grand prize is worth more than what they’ve found together…or if one of them will walk away empty handed—and broken hearted.

My Review:

The Valentine Quest (Love at the Chocolate Shop #5) by Melissa McClone.
I really enjoyed reading this book, Melissa McClone does an awesome job of writing the story of Nevada Parker and Dustin Decker.

I could feel the emotions and how hard it was for Dustin and how he is use to doing things and winning.
Nevada is the bookish type and wants to finish her PhD but really wants to win the Multi-day race called The Valentine Quest for her brother. He is always doing things for her and her sister Dakota.

When they both find out they need a partner, Nevada and Dustin who seem to have some chemistry decide to work together. They are both very competitive and both want to win. There is only one winner.

Like I said I did enjoy reading this book, I love how all the characters from this series intermingle and makes it even better.
I want to thank NetGalley, Tule Publishing and Melissa McClone for letter me read this book.
