by Aden Apolydoros!

Congratulations Aden!

Tyler Bennett trusts no one. Just another foster kid bounced from home to home, he’s learned that lesson the hard way. Cue world’s tiniest violin. But when strange things start happening—waking up with bloody knuckles and no memory of the night before or the burner phone he can’t let out of his sight— Tyler starts to wonder if he can even trust himself.

Even stranger, the girl he’s falling for has a burner phone just like his. Finding out what’s really happening only leads to more questions…questions that could get them both killed. It’s not like someone’s kidnapping teens lost in the system and brainwashing them to be assassins or anything, right? And what happens to rogue assets who defy control?

In a race against the clock, they’ll have to uncover the truth behind Project Pandora and take it down—before they’re reactivated. Good thing the program spent millions training them to kick ass…

HOT FOR THE FIREMAN by Gina L. Maxwell #ReleaseBlast @TastyBookTours @Gina_L_Maxwell @entangledpub

It’s
time to see how much heat this fireman can take…

HOT FOR THE FIREMAN
Boston Heat #1
Gina L. Maxwell
Releasing March 27th, 2017
Entangled Select

Ex-Army
Ranger Erik Grady lives for the job. So when his chief at the Boston Fire
Department offers him two choices—mandated therapy for supposed PTSD or a
permanent desk job at the station, he reluctantly agrees to see a shrink. Only
this doctor is unlike anything he expected. Female and curved in all the right
places? Check. Hotter than a four-alarm fire? Check. The kind of woman that can
heat his blood in and out of bed? Check, check. And oh, yeah, he just happens
to have firsthand experience…

Of all the
men to walk into psychologist Olivia Jones’ office, why did it have to be him?
Her one-night stand isn’t playing by the rules of just. One. Night. She’s had
her heart broken in the past, and no way is she going there again. And now he’s
blackmailing her into three dates? Well, if that’s what it takes to make him
see a different therapist, fine. She can handle it. So what if the chemistry
between them is combustible? She’s a professional, damn it. She’ll date Mr. I’m
Too Sexy For My Bunker Pants. But it won’t end in the fun he expects.

It’s time to see how much
heat this fireman can take…

“Sounds like a plan. Actually, it sounds like a date. Our second official one, to be exact.”

Olivia chuckled. “What are you talking about? We’ve had dozens of dates.”

“On the contrary, Dr. Jones, watching movies and hooking up at our respective apartments is not a proper date. Attending a party at your parents’ house, however, is definitely a date-type thing.”

“But my parents won’t even be there.”

“What about your godfather?”

A slow smile curved her lips. “Yes, I suppose Uncle Eddie and Aunt Tish will be in attendance.”

“There, you see? Anything that includes your family and my therapist is definitely an official date.” Erik gave her a sly grin and crowded her into the corner where the equipment lockers met the wall. “Come on, humor me. Calling it a date makes me feel like I’m not only a piece of meat being used for my body.”

“Fine,” she said with an exaggerated sigh and roll of those sexy hazel eyes. “It’ll officially be our second date. But just so we’re clear, I am only using you for your body.”

Peering up at him coyly through the dark fringe of her lashes, Olivia placed a single manicured nail at the hollow of his throat and dragged it down the center of his body. The muscles of his torso flexed and shuddered in its wake, shooting signals to his cock and balls that it was time to play. Thankfully, he still had a small supply of blood in his brain that prevented him from hauling her into his office and fucking her over his desk. Christ, that’s getting added to the fantasy bucket list. For now, though, he had to postpone the fun until later.

“Oddly enough, I’m very okay with being your boy toy, and I encourage you to get as much use out of me as you can. Now, I don’t know if you know this, but I also happen to be a firefighter. So if you’ve got any hot spots you need checked, I’d be more than happy to bring my hose by later and check them out thoroughly.”

“Mmm, that’s the best idea I’ve heard all day. You’re such a do-gooder, Lieutenant Grady.”

“Just doing my civic duty, ma’am. But you better get out of here before I decide you need to take the afternoon off so I can do some initial inspections.”

Laughing, she bussed him on the lips quickly and ducked under his arm, giving him a sexy wink before leaving him with the biggest hard-on that’d ever graced the firehouse gym. Fuck me. Time for a cold shower.

Publisher:  Entangled Teen Crush

Myra goes to Haiti with one goal: take the photograph that will win a scholarship and prove to her uber-traditional family that she has what it takes to be a photographer instead of a doctor. Her camera has always been her shield against getting too close to anyone, but she didn’t expect the hot teen translator who has an ability to see past her walls.

Elias needs his job as a translator to provide for his siblings. He can’t afford to break the rule forbidding him from socializing with a client. Except this girl Myra insists on going outside the city to capture the perfect picture, and he steps in as her guide in order to keep her safe.

The deeper they travel into the country, the harder they fall for each other. Now they’re both taking risks that could cost each other their dreams.

If they get too close—it could ruin both their lives.

Excerpt

Chapter One

Myra

Sweat drips down my forehead the second I take my first step out of the plane. I wipe it quickly. Yeah, that’s cute.

I pull at the baggy green T-shirt. Paired with stupid khaki pants, I’m a full-on frump-fest. I guess it doesn’t really matter. There isn’t anyone to impress here. They dressed us in matching, hellishly bright T-shirts so we wouldn’t lose each other in the rush of a new country. Convenient, but ugly.

Hungry eyes watch us as we pass through the crowd, looking for our massive bags. It was only a two-hour flight from Florida, but I feel like we flew straight to Africa. No one speaks English. They shout out in a strange language.

I thought I was prepared for this trip to Haiti, but ten seconds here and I’m already feeling overwhelmed. I grip the camera around my neck. The world is much easier to cope with when you’re looking at it through a lens. I snap a picture of the big warehouse-looking room of baggage claim. It’s an ugly picture, but I feel better for taking it.

You’d think I’d be used to this feeling, this out-of-place, stands-out, “what’s up with that girl” feeling. I’ve felt that my whole life. A Pakistani girl living in middle-of-nowhere, bumfuck, Middle of America, where, I swear, some people must not have seen a person of color in real life before.

But here, it’s a totally different feeling. I’m still an outcast, still getting odd looks, still totally out of place. Only it’s not my darker-than-normal skin color, big eyes, and lush black hair that makes me stand out here. It’s how light my skin is.

It’s the first time in my life I feel white.

But really, it’s not the race these people care about. It’s my nationality. I’m American. To them, American means rich.

The people at the gates, the workers, the other passengers—all of them with skin black as night. It’s beautiful, really. It’s just clear I don’t belong here.

No one in my group does.

I finally catch sight of my last bag among the remaining luggage. With a huff, I pull my massive green suitcase from the conveyer belt.

“Myra! Get a move on.” I suppress an eye roll and heave the stupid heavy bag across the crowded airport. Thick voices bombard me.

A black man in a collared shirt I think was once white approaches me and reaches for the bag in my hands. I rip it from his fingers, taking a panicked step backward but having no idea where I’ll go. My stomach leaps to my throat. Oh shit…

But he doesn’t pursue me. He just shakes his head and says something in a language I can’t understand. Then reaches for the bag again. I take another step back.

“Mom?” I call out, looking for her in the mass of bodies around me. Dirty, sweaty men everywhere.

“Myra! Let the man have it, he’s toting the bags for us,” I hear the familiar accent call from somewhere in the huge crowded room, and my head clears. I can’t mistake my mother, not anywhere. No one has a Pakistani accent like hers. Not even my father’s is as thick.

I blink and find a flash of green through the crowd before me. Okay, maybe the T-shirts were a good idea. I see another man in the same yellowed-white shirt stacking suitcases on a big trolley thing. Oh.

I give the man next to me an awkward smile, and he takes the bag, mumbling under his breath. Like I could understand him in the first place.

Stupid Americans. Yeah, it’s probably something like that.

Excerpt from COLOR ME CRAZY:

“Oh. Well, you looked better last night,” she said. “Of course, you know what they say. The girls all get prettier at closing time.”

Was she really insinuating that last night’s advances— and she had made advances—were the result of dim lighting? And worse, was she really quoting a Mickey Gilley song? The slow burn of irritation spread through him. The woman literally made him see red.

He didn’t usually respond so foolishly to what might only be good-natured ribbing, but he was inexplicably rattled, as if he were a monkey in a cage that had been given a good jiggle.

Wanting to get rid of the smirk tugging at the left corner of Cleo’s upper lip, Julian gave her a quick and intentional once-over. “That’s most de nitely true,” he replied. “At closing time, guys make overtures they often regret the next morning.”

The hint of a smirk disappeared, and the other eyebrow rose to match the rst. Then they both dived down to form a vicious scowl. She looked like a teakettle just before it whistled. Slamming the door behind her, she said, “At closing time, some people become desperate gropers.” Her eyes dusted over him. “And yet somehow they manage to appear even more pathetic the next morning by showing up stubbly and wearing a girl’s shirt.”

“This is not a girl’s shirt. This is my Sex Pistols shirt.”

“Well, the cap sleeves look cute on you.” She smiled sweetly.

What the hell were cap sleeves? Unable to resist, he glanced at his shoulders. The sleeves did look a bit funny.

“Told you so, Juli,” Addie said, with the singsong smugness she’d used throughout their childhood. Perfect timing with the fucking nickname. Because cap sleeves were not quite emasculating enough.

“Juli. Good grief, that’s it,” Cleo said. “Sorry. For the life of me, I couldn’t remember your name. I just knew it was something effeminate.”

“It’s Julian Wheaton, and there’s nothing effeminate about me,” he growled, standing taller and trying to look… well…as manly as possible in a girl’s shirt.

The redhead glanced at his sleeves and cleared her throat. The corner of Addie’s mouth curled up, causing a dimple to appear out of nowhere.

This situation was annoying as hell and hadn’t gone at all according to his plan, which had been to whip off his sunglasses and cook Lava Locks with a smoldering stare, even though nobody wearing a stained T-shirt and some sort of horrible men’s trunks deserved one. In no part of his plan was he supposed to be wearing women’s clothing while suffering the scrutiny of an unimpressed, pint-size bundle of bravado.

He lifted his eyes toward hers and did what he did best: a perfected sexy glance, followed by a boyish gaze through the lashes. Her full bottom lip jutted out in annoyance, which pleased him immensely. He looked lower, in order to make the obligatory pause at the breasts. Okay, more than a pause. White T-shirt. No bra. Very nice.

The fake engagement may be the beginning of a high-stakes game of subterfuge, but when their hearts get involved, Lucas has to decide whether to break the rules or break Ruby’s heart.

her-enemy-protector-teaser-2

EXCERPT

“Are you completely insane?” Lucas asked in a harsh whisper.

The answer to that depended on who was answering, but Ruby didn’t think he really wanted a response to his question. “I guess that means the room is clean of bugs.”

He wasn’t going to be put off though, judging by the way he stalked over to her, predatory intention clear in every step that brought him closer. Her pulse shot up, and every instinct warned her to run, but she stood her ground as he bore down on her. He stopped less than an arm’s reach away, frustration dipped in desire pouring off him in waves that set off an answering delicious shiver up her spine.

“Asking me to bring Jasper here.” He shoved his long fingers through his dark hair, ruffling its perfect order. “You know that isn’t possible.”

“We both know it is possible—anyway, it’s smart for you. It lets you flash a little of that Luc Svendsen magic that has Rolf all hot and bothered.” She snorted at his surprised look. Men always were ready to believe anything about her, except that she could add two plus two and get four. “Oh yes, I know that despite what your written plan stated, I was just your invitation to Fare Island. The really big bait you’re dangling so he’ll let you in close is the possibility of learning all the secrets you have about the influential people he wants to control.”

“I don’t need Jasper here to prove that I’m valuable.”

“No, you need him here to prove that you’re willing to make sacrifices for the organization. He knows it will cost you valuable favors to get Jasper here. If you don’t think he has some inkling that my brother is in custody, then you vastly underestimate him.” Too many people had tried to influence her father by currying favor with his family. However, neither her mother, brother, nor herself had a direct line to her father’s heart. “That’s what he really cares about. Until you can prove your value to the organization, you’re an interesting distraction.”

She was right. He’d have to be an imbecile not to realize it, and Lucas Bendtsen was no idiot. Like her, he stayed focused on obtaining the goal at all costs, no one who wasn’t that way would have said yes to her stepfather’s asinine idea to get married right away. They didn’t have much in common, but they had that, even if their goals were at opposing ends.

“And the fact that having Jasper here will make it that much easier for you two to go AWOL didn’t factor into your decision at all?”

Of course it did, but she didn’t need to confirm it for him to know that. “What’s wrong?” she asked, her sharp question softened by her teasing tone. “You think you can’t beat me at the game you created and made all the rules for?”

His answering smirk made her pulse hop. “That’s not even up for debate.”

Had they started flirting? Because it totally felt like they’d moved from fighting to flirting considering the way her lungs had shrunk and her nipples had peaked. Did Mr. By The Book even know how to flirt? His eyes darkened before he dropped his gaze to her parted mouth then ever so slowly brought his attention back up. Breathing became difficult.

Yes. Yes, he definitely did know how to flirt.
