First of all, I have to say that Melissa Foster is a fantastic writer. She is so good at storytelling; I am always enthralled when reading one of her books. Seaside Lovers is wonderfully written. I loved the story between Parker and Grayson. I fell in love with both of them. With Parker being an actress she has a very busy life, but an unexpected life event happened and she needed to get away from Hollywood and regroup and grieve the loss of her best friend, mentor and father figure. From the start of the story, the book was really interesting. I loved how she developed the characters and brought in the other characters. Grayson, who works with Parker’s charitable organization, which he was lucky to win the contest to do the iron work for some of the buildings that the organization wanted done. He had been emailing Parker back and forth about what she wants done. I loved how this developed. While Grayson went to check on one of the homes he was building a railing for he found Parker there and she was a mess, Chocolate, tequila and a horror flick on the TV Parkers way of grieving. This wasn’t how Parker wanted to meet Grayson but that is how they met in person.
This wonderful story goes through some awesome twist and turns and that is what makes this a fantastic book to read. I didn’t expect the ending and thought wow this is so awesome!!! This whole story is totally worth it to read.
