Is it a real reunion, or one for the
cameras? It’s a second-chance romance from USA TODAY
 bestselling author Catherine
Football star Henri Reynaud won’t
let his career go down without a fight. If the only way to win is to reconcile
with his estranged wife, he’ll do what it takes. But spending time with Fiona
Harper-Reynaud isn’t just some ruse. The sultry beauty belongs in his bed.

Fiona doesn’t know where her sexy
husband’s public act ends and his real feelings begin. Can she afford to fall a
second time for the man every female wants? One thing is
undeniable—their attraction has never flared hotter!

Reunited with the Rebel Billionaire is a real intense story. I really loved the story-line.  From reading the blurb to actually reading the story is not really the same thing. The story is about Fiona, she has major health problems and has taken an active step to try and stop it. Her Mother and Grandmother died from Ovarian and breast cancer. I feel this is a very serious and sensitive topic and the author did a great job of writing this story. I had a hard time liking Fiona, I didn’t really understand why she was putting such a distance between her and her husband. I have never been in this type of situation before so I can’t judge. Yes, to me all characters are real people. I think Fiona was scared and afraid of hurting her husband and his career. Yes, you will need to read the book to find out why. I did like Fiona, but it was hard too. She is a very strong person in this story and was afraid to ask for help. If I was in her situation, I might also do as she did. I just don’t know. But the story to me is well written. I don’t have to like or agree with the character to still love the book. It is an emotional story.

Ok now for Henri, rich, famous football player, handsome and loves his wife. Wow what more could a woman want. I loved his character and loved how he tried and really didn’t know what to do to help. But he wants to be supportive. Fiona is a big part of his life, she helped the wives on the team as well and did a lot of charity work. She is smart educated and also wanted and needed something that couldn’t happen.

This is the first time reading this series and also this author, I felt her writing was fantastic and I felt like I was right there in the story, except I wasn’t so I couldn’t tell Fiona what to do.

I also have to agree with another reviewer, I don’t think the cover for this book works. The guy on the cover doesn’t look like a hard body football player.

I am still giving this book five stars. It is worth the read.

I want to thank Tasty Book tours and the Author for letting me review this book.
