Book Blurb

Returning home from Verona on cloud nine, Ava Hart is ready to share her secret with the world. She feels that nothing and no one can stand in the way of her happiness with Gabriel Edwards, that is until tragedy strikes again, bringing with it an unexpected visitor. Once more Ava is thrown into emotional turmoil, not helped by Gabriel having to move back to London. And with everyone seemingly intent on trying to tear them apart, Ava will need to search deep within her soul to discover what it is her heart truly desires.

excerpt

“Ava, men are attracted to you like moths to a flame. A beautiful, hypnotic flame. They willingly throw themselves onto the fire, hoping to get nearer, beating themselves up in the process…”

“When you kiss me, I want you to be thinking of me only, no one else. Do you hear?” He sounded hurt. I nodded as best I could. Tears stung my eyes at his harsh words. “I want you Ava, make no mistake about that, but not like this, when you’re drunk and still thinking of him. When I kiss you, it will be me and only me who occupies that beautiful mind of yours.”

“I have watched you Ava. You are strong, don’t ever doubt that. And although right now you are at your lowest point and you feel that there is no way out, believe an old man when he says, no matter what your situation, life has a wonderful habit of turning out good in the end. Look at Bridget and me. Who would have guessed it? But, if right now it is not good and your heart still aches, then my dear sweet girl, it is not quite the end. Life goes on. The world doesn’t stop turning. You have to continue to live your life. Don’t give up, keep trying and believe in yourself.” He kissed my cheek and let me go. I didn’t know what to say. “Keep smiling beautiful girl.” Tears ran down my cheeks.

Amazon #1 Bestselling series in *New Release* for Clean Romance

Six brand new contemporary romance novellas with bestselling and award winning authors.

In the sweet novella TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE by Heather B. Moore, Gwen uses her wedding photography business to keep her life simple and focus on something other than her own broken heart. When Jack, a guy too handsome for his own good, helps her clean up after a photoshoot, then asks her out, she doesn’t know if she can handle dating again. But Jack’s charm wins her over, and she agrees to meet him for dinner. The more she gets to know Jack, the more she likes him, but everything about him seems too good to be true.

GONE FISHING, a charming novella by Kaylee Baldwin, follows Claire as she tries to convince her dad to leave his start-up company as a boat guide and come back home to Colorado. He’s the only one who can defend Claire against her domineering mother. But when she arrives at the San Diego harbor, she’s met with more than one surprise. First, that her dad is truly living his dream and has never been happier, and second, she’s unexpectedly attracted to his business partner, Miguel.

In THE PIER CHANGES EVERYTHING, an enchanting novella by Annette Lyon, Alexandria has one last task to perform for her late husband, who died much too young: scatter his ashes in the Pacific Ocean. She goes to the Santa Monica Pier to do just that, but her plans get sidetracked after meeting Michael and feeling an immediate connection to him. They grab lunch, and the more time they spend together, the more they discover that they have in common—including past romantic hardships. As the day wears on, Alexandria begins learn that her heart just might be able to find love again.

In Jennifer Moore’s captivating novella A HERO’S SONG, AnneMarie’s career as a romance novelist is skyrocketing and her agent books her on a late night talk show. The host gets her to admit that she was in love once, with a guitar player. Moments after her segment, Lance Holden appears on the same stage, to perform his newest song. Is it a terrible coincidence? AnneMarie hasn’t seen Lance ever since he broke her heart ten years ago, and she has refused to think about him again. Their lives are worlds apart, but as Lance tries to reconcile with AnneMarie, she finds herself taking a second chance.

In STAY WITH ME, an endearing novella by Shannon Guymon, Jolie moves to L.A. to take on a nanny position for the summer, since apparently having a degree in art doesn’t translate to getting a job as a graphic designer. When Fitz, the family’s chauffeur, picks her up at the airport, she wonders if every man in LA is model-gorgeous. When Jolie meets her two charges, she finds them adorable and needy. But it’s harder to hold onto her job than she thought with a hostile Mrs. James and her spoiled brother. Fitz becomes both the silver lining of her job and the man who just might convince her to stay in L.A.

In the delightful novella, A PLACE TO CALL HOME, by Sarah M. Eden, Ada is the best realtor around. The best. She prides herself in matching each client with the house that will fit all of their needs. She hasn’t failed yet. So when Craig hires her to find him the perfect condo for him and his son, Ada is up for the challenge. What she may not be prepared for is her unforeseen attraction to Craig, her immediate attachment to his nine-year-old son, and her heart telling her that it’s okay to take another chance.

Book Review

A Timeless Romance Anthology: California Dreamin’ collection.
By Heather B. Moore, Sarah M. Eden, Shannon Guymon, Kalee Baldwin, Annette Lyon, Jennifer Moore.

I will have to say these stories make me just want to move to California and enjoy life by the beach.
All the writers did a great job on each story, I really enjoyed them all. I loved reading all these short story’s they are all positive and happy ever after type books. Which is something I love to read.
1) Too Good To Be True By Heather B. Moore:
I love this story as Gwen is trying to keep her life simple and working on her wedding photography business. She isn’t looking for love, just wants to do her own thing.
Jack, is a busy man, no time for women, but meets Gwen, Jacks family is not happy about it.
I liked it because it is sweet and romantic, so worth reading this story.

2) Gone Fishing by Kaylee Baldwin:
When Claire’s Parents divorced her father moved to the beach and Claire and her sister where stuck living with their mother. Her Dad started his life dream being a boat guide, Claire wants her dad back home where she thinks he belongs. Loved this story, loved how Claire learned about her dad and want makes him happy and what works for him and you can read how she learns how as well. I love how this story went, the characters and all the fun action. The choices Claire has to make and how her mom reacted so worth reading this story.

3) The Pier Changes Everything by Annette Lyon:
This is a really touching story. It is a sad story to start with Alexandria goes to the Santa Monica Pier to scatter her young husband’s ashes. She gets sidetracked and meets Michael. She goes to lunch with him, and there is an immediate connection. This story reminds me of being at the right place at the right time and not knowing why. Like there is something in the universe having them meet. So a wonderful story, one that you will be happy you read.

4) A Hero’s Song by Jennifer Moore:
AnneMarie is a romance writer who hasn’t really have any romance. Her novel is skyrocketing and her agent books her on a late night talk show. The host gets her to admit that she was once in love with a guitar player and missed out. She really told all and then guess what? The schedule music for that show was the guy she was talking about, wow she was really upset that he was there and she told all to a TV audience. Possible could be anyone’s worse nightmare.
How could they have possible been schedule to be on the same show? What happens next, you will need to read this one. I loved it.

5) Stay With Me by Shannon Guymon.
Jolie takes on a job as a nanny position for the summer. She totally falls for the kids, she really cares for the kids and enjoys their time together. Of course there are issues, like the kids mom, she doesn’t really have time for the kids and she expects the nanny to also take care of her adult brother. Of course there is a cute man in the picture who helps with life. Loved this story, was really fun to read.

6) A Place To Call Home by Sarah M. Eden:
Ada who is single is the best realtor around, she really wants to make sure that her clients find the right home to live in. So when Craig hires her, it is a challenge and the challenge is so worth it. Craig a single dad and with one son who also needs to have the perfect condo. I felt this was a very touching story and really enjoy how it unfolded.

These short stories are great to read anytime but the summer is best.

I received this book from the authors for an honest review.

They say death can be beautiful. But after the death of her mother, seventeen-year-old RAVEN WEATHERSBY gives up her dream of becoming a fashion designer, barely surviving life in the South Carolina lowlands.

To make ends meet, Raven works after school as a seamstress creating stunning works of fashion that often rival the great names of the day.

Instead of making things easier on the high school senior, her stepdad’s drinking leads to a run in with the highly reclusive heir to the Maddox family fortune, Gideon Maddox.

But Raven’s stepdad’s drying out and in no condition to attend the meeting with Maddox. So Raven volunteers to take his place and offers to repay the debt in order to keep the only father she’s ever known out of jail, or worse.

Gideon Maddox agrees, outlining an outrageous demand: Raven must live in his home for a year while she designs for Maddox Industries’ clothing line, signing over her creative rights.

Her handsome young captor is arrogant and infuriating to the nth degree, and Raven can’t imagine working for him, let alone sharing the same space for more than five minutes.

But nothing is ever as it seems. Is Gideon Maddox the monster the world believes him to be? And can he stand to let the young seamstress see him as he really is?

The Artisans is a delectably rich, layered and dark YA Southern Gothic inspired by Jeanne Marie Leprince de Beaumont’s classic Beauty and the Beast.

The Artisans has all the elements I love – spooky intrigue, strong friendships, and a romantic tension to be savored.” ~ Wendy Higgins, New York Times bestselling author of the Sweet Evil trilogy.

About-the-Author

Julie_Reece_Image_3-253x300

Born in Ohio, I lived next to my grandfather’s horse farm until the fourth grade. Summers were about riding, fishing and make-believe, while winter brought sledding and ice-skating on frozen ponds. Most of life was magical, but not all.

I struggled with multiple learning disabilities, did not excel in school. I spent much of my time looking out windows and daydreaming. In the fourth grade (with the help of one very nice teacher) I fought dyslexia for my right to read, like a prince fights a dragon in order to free the princess locked in a tower, and I won.

Afterwards, I read like a fiend. I invented stories where I could be the princess… or a gifted heroine from another world who kicked bad guy butt to win the heart of a charismatic hero. Who wouldn’t want to be a part of that? Later, I moved to Florida where I continued to fantasize about superpowers and monsters, fabricating stories (my mother called it lying) and sharing them with my friends.

Then I thought I’d write one down…

Hooked, I’ve been writing ever since. I write historical, contemporary, urban fantasy, adventure, and young adult romances. I love strong heroines, sweeping tales of mystery and epic adventure… which must include a really hot guy. My writing is proof you can work hard to overcome any obstacle. Don’t give up. I say, if you write, write on!

Nobody's-Goddess-Cover

In a village of masked men, magic compels each man to love only one woman and to follow the commands of his “goddess” without question. A woman may reject the only man who will love her if she pleases, but she will be alone forever. And a man must stay masked until his goddess returns his love—and if she can’t or won’t, he remains masked forever.

Seventeen-year-old Noll isn’t in the mood to celebrate. Her childhood friends have paired off and her closest companion, Jurij, found his goddess in Noll’s own sister. Desperate to find a way to break this ancient spell, Noll instead discovers why no man has ever chosen her.

Thus begins a dangerous game between the choice of woman versus the magic of man. And the stakes are no less than freedom and happiness, life and death—and neither is willing to lose.
