Genre:  YA Fantasy

Dating isn’t easy when you’re in the middle of a blood feud.

Anastasia Vila’s family can turn into swans, but just once she’d like them to turn into responsible adults.

After hundreds of years, they still cling to the blood feud with the Renard family. No one remembers how it started in the first place—but foxes and swans just don’t get along.

Vilas can only transform into their swan shape after they have fallen in love for the first time, but between balancing schoolwork, family obligations, and the escalating blood feud, Ana’s got no time for love. The only thing keeping her sane is her best friend, Pierce Kent.

But when Pierce kisses Ana, everything changes.

Is what Pierce feels for her real, or a byproduct of her magic? Can she risk everything for her best friend? And when the family feud spirals out of control, Ana must stop the fight before it takes away everything she loves.

Including, maybe…Pierce.

This Entangled Teen Crave book contains language, violence, and lots of kissing. Warning: it might induce strong feelings of undeniable attraction for your best friend.

My Review

Love M, Love Me Not. By Alyxandra Harvey was a really interesting story. This is the first time reading this author. I will start off I really care to read about shape shifters, just not my genre. I was really surprised that I loved this sweet but interesting story. Anastasia (Ana) Vila needs to fall in love to earn her wings so she can turn into a swan.  She lives with her father on land that the rest of the family lives. She has a best friend Pierce, who is the only person who knows she needs to turn into a swan by finding her true love. Of course Ana thinks she is in love with someone else.

The swans are feuding with the Renard family, they are foxes. I really found the story interesting and it kept me wanting to read and find out what happens. I loved that it has different POV, it was either Ana or Pierce telling the story and there was a lot going on in this story. Pierce is just a regular guy who likes books and comes from a dysfunctional family.

There is a lot of adventure in this story, lots of great scenes and I loved the character developments with this story. I would even read the next book if the author writes more. Like I said I am not into shapeshifting but I did enjoy this story and how the author kept the plot going and I was intrigued to read the whole book and pretty much didn’t want to put it down till I was finished.

I want to thank Chapter by Chapter and Entangle for hosting a blog tour and for me to be able to read and share how much I really liked this book.

I received a free copy of a book in exchange for an honest review

About the Author

Alyxandra Harvey lives in a stone Victorian house in Ontario, Canada with a few resident ghosts who are allowed to stay as long as they keep company manners. She loves medieval dresses, used to be able to recite all of The Lady of Shalott by Tennyson, and has been accused, more than once, of being born in the wrong century. She believes this to be mostly true except for the fact that she really likes running water, women’s rights, and ice cream. Aside from the ghosts, she also lives with her husband and their dogs. She likes cinnamon lattes, tattoos and books.
