Synopsis

How can something so wrong…
All Quinn Dorsey wants is a white picket fence fairy tale. But after another failed relationship and her biological clock ticking double time, she’s desperate enough to try online dating. Following a series of worst dates ever, she decides happily-ever-after isn’t in the Tarot cards. Forget Cupid, it’s time to take matters into her own hands. A simple seduction should do the trick, but then everything that can go wrong…does!
…Turn out to be so right
Dak Savage isn’t interested in commitment. He’s been burned by women before – lied to, used, even shot. Hell, he considers women a curse and has one rule he never breaks – don’t pick up women in bars. But when he agrees to a guys’ night out and meets up with the feisty, fast talking Quinn, his rule shatters like a dropped shot glass.

A one night stand turns into a long weekend and as Quinn tries to abandon her ridiculous scheme, she finds herself nose-to-nose and toe-to-toe with the best mistake she’s ever made.

My Review

I really thought this was a good story, I thought it was written well and I enjoyed the characters and the storyline.

The story is about Quinn Dorsey, her biological clock is ticking and she really wants a baby, would be nice to have a husband as well. Quinn writes articles for the local newspaper, lives in a not so good apartment, cooks for her Dad and Grandpa and tries to avoid her mother. She has had a few fallen relationships and time is not on her side. She is trying to find a man. Then decides she just wants a baby. She checks out ways she can get pregnant.  Her and her friends come up with a scheme….

Dak Savage oh so hot, he is on top of his career and he isn’t interested in a relationship, tired of women lying, among many things. Somehow fate has Quinn and Dak at the same bar at the same time. Neither one normally goes to the bar, nor do they normally pick up on the opposite sex.

So far so good, very fun and interesting to read. I loved the attitude of the characters and how the story flows. I felt the author Ann Everett did a great job on this book and I can’t wait to read more of her books.

I received this book for an honest review.
