Swoon-worthy guys, comical moments, witty dialogue, and hot kisses from Amazon bestselling author, Rachel Morgan …

Labelled a nerd for most of high school, Livi sees her first year of university as a chance to redefine herself. She can finally enter the popular crowd and maybe even land herself a super hot boyfriend. But Livi’s about to discover that the in-crowd isn’t what she’s always believed it to be, and that maybe what—and who—she wants most has always been right in front of her.

My Review

I really thought this was a great story and I think there is a message with this story as well. I loved the Characters in this story; Livi who after taking a year to be an au pair, is now attending University. She doesn’t want to be known as the nerdy band girl, she wants a new image, new friends and to be with the “popular people”.

I felt this story tells it like it is, it isn’t easy to try to be something your not. I do like the fact that she did try many new experiences and then choose what is important at the end. I really loved the ending of this book and loved the fact that the characters did grow, I loved how the author showed them growing, maturing and I think this is a great book for a young adult to read.

This is in a series of books, each one with a different character and the story is out of South Africa and I am finding it interesting to read about that part of the world. I even looked up on the internet about South Africa to learn more about the country, and found it very interesting.

I gave this story Five Stars

I received this book for an honest review and I really enjoyed reading this story.

Rachel Morgan is a South African author who spent a large portion of her childhood living in a fantasy land of her own making. After completing a degree in genetics, she decided science wasn’t for her—after all, they didn’t approve of made-up facts. These days she spends much of her time immersed in fantasy land once more, writing fiction for young adults and those young at heart.

She is the author of the bestselling Creepy Hollow series, and the lighthearted contemporary romance Trouble series.I love this quote, Diana
