I’ll Be There by Samantha Chase is the 6th book in the Montgomery Brothers series. This is the first book I have read in this series. My first thought was it started out a little dry for me. It took me awhile to get into this story. But I loved the family closeness in this story.
As the blurb states that Zach’s perfect world is turned upside down when he has a mountain climbing accident. He loves to do extreme sports and this one did him in. He didn’t die but was seriously injured and that is a hard thing to deal with. His loving family comes to help. They are there for him all the way. Zach is not happy and he is extremely cantankerous, fires every physical therapist that wants to help him out. Even though I haven’t read any of the other books, he seems like a hard to deal with type of man.
Gabriella is his executive Assistant she has worked very hard for him over the years that she has been with him. She handled his stubborn and cantankerous ways. But even she can only take so much.
Like I said the beginning was a little dry and slow but it got much better with some twist and turns. I am glad I was able to read this book. I loved how it shows someone overcoming a setback in life and that it is possible to recover.
I do plan to read the whole series as I am wanted to learn more about the characters. I want to thank Tasty Blog Tours and Netgalley for a copy of this book to read and review.
