Hold Me Cowboy (Montana Born Rodeo #2, Wildflower Ranch #5)
By Alissa Callen
Marietta home town girl Kendall Dixon knows who she is and what she wants, even if the stubborn and slow-smiling cowboy who owns her heart is long gone from Montana.
Rancher Brent Ashton returns to Marietta to care for his sick mother. Haunted by the death of his father, he must save his derelict home and resist rekindling the romance with the only girl he’s ever loved. He can’t let her sacrifice her dreams for him.
But the shy and sweet Kendall he left behind has become a strong and determined woman. A woman who won’t let her cowboy walk away for a second time.
Hold Me, Cowboy (2015 Montana Born Rodeo)
Well I am such a sucker for these Montana born stories, I love them all. I also love how Alissa Callen writes. She did an awesome job with Hold Me, Cowboy.
This story is about Kendall and Brent. When Brent’s Father died, he decided to leave town and move to Australia. He needed to get away and wanted to see the world. Even though his heart was for Kendall. But of course family interferes and her mother told him it would be better if he left so Kendall can achieve her dreams. So he left. Kendall was heartbroken but life goes on. She has no idea why Brent left.
When he returns to help his ailing mother, Kendall is right there. She isn’t really sure what to do, She wants him back but not sure if he wants her. The emotions are there. Kendall agrees to help with his mother for a few weeks till the person who normally helps out returns.
The story is very interesting and to read about how things go between Kendall and Brent, l love how they bring in Kendall’s twin brother Rhett and his fiancée. I really enjoyed the flow of the story. This was a really good novella to read. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.
I just have to say that I love all the Montana Born Series. They are so interesting and fun to read.
I was given a copy of this book for an honest review, I received this book from Netgalley.
