Stick in the Mud Meets Spontaneity (Meet Your Match #3) by Rachael Anderson
Home from college for the summer, Samantha Kinsey steps into her role as nanny for her two favorite little charges. But when she finds herself playing chauffeur more than playmate, her summer outlook quickly turns from fun to bleak. That is, until she drives the girls to a family-owned ranch and meets Colten McCoy—a genuine, hard-working cowboy, who’s as set in his ways as he is handsome. Although he claims he doesn’t need any fun in his life, Sam’s determined to help him find it. But she’ll soon discover that cowboys are about as easy to train as wild mustangs.
Stick in the Mud Meets Spontaneity is about an adaptable girl and a not so adaptable guy. It’s about learning to accept people for who they are and realizing that sometimes who they are is exactly who they should be.

This is the 3rd book in the series and I have decided to read this one first. Not sure why, but that is how it work out. I love reading books from this author as I know they will be fun, romance and clean. This book was just as predicted, fun, romantic and clean.
Colton is a cowboy, works on his parent’s ranch with his brothers. It is hard work, but that is what Colton knows and loves, he loves and has a way with horses. His Family also does horseback riding lessons and Kajsa is one of their students.
Samantha (Sam) is home from college, graduated and has the summer off till the fall when she has the job offer that she couldn’t turn down. Of course her home town is in Colorado and the job off is in New York, she is excited but nervous. Kajsa is one of the kids she use to baby sits and needs a ride to the ranch every day for riding lessons. Of course Sam volunteers to take her. While waiting for Kajsa she sits down and writes a bucket list of everything she wants to do during her summer off. Of course one of the things on the list is a fling with a cowboy. Then she meets Colton, he decides he can help her with her list, at first he doesn’t see the part about the fling with a cowboy, but the other ones like learning to ride a horse and riding a bull. I loved the chemistry between the two. I loved the way Rachael Anderson wrote about them and how Kajsa was there helping and putting in her two cents. And the ending was great. You will have to read this wonderful story to see all the fun they had, the ups and the downs.
Great book that I totally enjoyed reading.
I did receive this book for an honest opinion.
USA Today bestselling author, Rachael Anderson is the mother of four and is pretty good at breaking up fights, or at least sending guilty parties to their rooms. She can’t sing, doesn’t dance, and despises tragedies. But she recently figured out how yeast works and can now make homemade bread, which she is really good at eating.
