Book Review: Beneath by H.B. Moore

Beneath (Omar Zagouri #0.5)Beneath by H.B. Moore

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I would have to say this short story has a lot of excitement packed into. As being a short story, the author H.B. Moore had to develop the characters right from the start.

Chalice Stratford was starting a new job, she was in the witness protection program and of course didn’t expect anything to happy. Nice simple low key job in a museum, sounds fair that it would be simple.
But it wasn’t.
I like these story’s where there is a twist and if you like the story, you want to read more of the series. I cant wait to read then next book. Finding Sheba.
Great clean book.

What the book is about:

Chalice Stratford’s hands won’t stop shaking. Since the serial killer who tortured her is still at large, she’s had to enter the witness protection program and give up the medical practice that required her steady hand. Now she is working in a museum in Bordeaux, France, and doing her best to keep a low profile.

On the first day of her new job, the last thing she expects is to be abducted in a theft gone wrong. But Omar Zagouri, the man behind the heist, is more than he appears, and Chalice soon discovers that he might be the one man who can put her demons to rest.
